WHAT IS STATE-FUNDED HOUSING?
State housing was built with and is partially maintained by funds received from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Needham Housing Authority follows the rules and regulations established by the State Legislature and the Executive Office of Housing and Living Communities (EOHLC).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR STATE HOUSING?
Disabled persons and anyone aged 60 and over who meet the income requirements may apply.
The waitlist is currently open for our 1-bedroom units.
WHERE IS NHA'S STATE HOUSING LOCATED?
We manage two state properties that are located next to each other on Linden Street and Chambers Street in Needham.
Both properties are within walking distance to MBTA bus routes, the Commuter Rail, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Needham Center.

- One laundry room per building
- One community room (shared with Linden Street residents)
LINDEN STREET
- 72 one-bedrooms
- Four onsite laundry rooms
- One community room (shared with Chambers Street residents)
